象似性视角下的词汇教学研究

词汇是语言的组成单位之一,它在语言交流中起着重要作用。在英语教学中,词汇扮演着重要的角色,尤其是在培养学习者听说读写译等技能方面。 随着认知语言学的发展,学者们开始从认知的角度去研究和解释各种语言现象。而象似性作为认知语言学领域的一个重点,逐渐成为语言学领域的一个热点话题。语言象似性是指语言符号的能指和所指之间有一种内在的联系,两者的结合是可以论证的,是有理据的(沈家煊,1993)。象似性所探讨语言的能指与所指的关系为教学提供了新的启示。本文主要探讨象似性理论在词汇教学中的运用。Householder在调查中发现,90%的词汇都具有理据性,因此研究象似性在词汇教学中的作用有着重要的意义(杜文礼,1996)。它不仅能够更好的指导教学,而且能够帮助学生更加容易有效的学习词汇。然而,学者们将视角更多的用于探讨语言的任意性和象似性,而象似性运用方面的研究较少,这正是本文从象似性视角研究词汇教学的原因。 Stephen Ullman将词汇象似性分为语音象似性、词形象似性、词义象似性。Bollinger将词源象似性也看做是词汇象似性的一部分。本文将从语音、词形、词义和词源的角度探讨词汇象似性,试图...
