基于多模态理论初中英语词汇教学的实验研究

  近年来,辽宁省逐步实施英语听力口语自动化考试,这一举措对于培养学生的语言表达技能提出了更高的要求,其中词汇理解能力是衡量学生听说能力的重要标准。与此同时,义务教育阶段英语课程标准一直强调教授学生词汇时要调动学生的多重感官来提高词汇记忆效果。另外,多模态理论是指人运用视觉、听觉甚至触觉等多种感官,通过语言、声音、图像、动作等多种模态符号进行交际的现象。由此可见,多模态理论与英语课程标准教学理念不谋而合。所以,越来越多的人关注多模态词汇教学模式。该研究以多模态理论为基础,探究有关初中英语词汇教学的两个问题:(1)基于多模态理论的词汇教学对学生词汇学习有什么影响?(2)在多模态词汇教学的影响下,学生对词汇学习态度有什么变化?在定量和定性研究的指导下,研究者以盘锦市某中学初三5班为实验对象,利用测试法、问卷调查法和访谈法进行为期3个月的教学实验。在实验研究中,研究者对该班级进行了前测和后测并比较实验效果。之后在该班进行问卷调查并随机抽取6名学生进行访谈以了解学生在进行多模态词汇教学后对词汇学习的态度。最后,研究者收集数据并利用SPSS25.0统计软件进行分析,得出实验结论。实验结果表明,多模态...
