窄式阅读对高中英语词汇学习的影响

  词汇学习和教学在英语语言学习中起着很重要的作用,而且词汇也和阅读能力息息相关。高中学生花费大量的时间在背单词表上,但是学习效果却并不理想。甚至背会的单词在句子和篇章中也不会使用。所以寻求一种有效的教学方法来帮助学生摆脱英语词汇学习的困难是非常有必要的。窄式阅读是区别于泛读的阅读方法,即在一段时间里阅读同样话题,同样体裁或者同一个作者的文章。它的优点在于为话题提供了充足的背景信息和增加了词汇的复现率。本文把窄式阅读应用到高中英语词汇教学中。为了增强词汇学习效果,在窄式阅读的基础上目标词的针对练习也被应用到教学模式中。在本教学模式中,学生将通过阅读材料和语篇来学习单词以提高他们词汇学习的效率。本研究以Krashen(1985)输入假设和图式理论为理论基础,在国内外学者研究的基础上提出了三个研究问题,分别是:(1)“窄式阅读+词汇练习”英语词汇教学模式是否能提高学生对单词的记忆保持量?(2)“窄式阅读+词汇练习”英语词汇教学模式是否能提高学生对词汇知识的运用能力?(3)被试者对“窄式阅读+词汇练习”英语词汇教学模式的态度是什么?实验对象来自天水市清水县一中高二年级的9班和13班两个平行班,共...
