基于输入输出理论谈模仿—复述美国之声策略对英语口语教学的效果

  本文对中国哑巴英语这一现象进行剖析,发现口语课教学方法缺乏多样性和创新性,英语口语课课堂缺乏互动,以及英语学习者口语表达水平普遍较低达不到教学大纲对英语口语水平的要求。由于英语口语表达是一种知识的输出,良好的输出是建立在良好的输入之上。良好的输入是良好输出的先决条件,良好的输出又反作用于输入,两者相辅相成,不可分离。笔者从输入的材料着手,基于输入输出理论,经过调查分析后,笔者建立了把输入输出与口语练习材料相结合的策略—模仿-复述美国之声新闻材料(the IR-VOA Strategy)。 模仿-复述策略有着坚实的理论基础—克拉申的输入假说和斯温纳的输出假说。模仿在二语习得中既是语言材料的输入又是输出。在模仿学习材料之后,最终能够把原材料的内容复述出来则是语言的输出。模仿作为一种输入方式,学生在练习的过程中,多种感觉器官同时参与,其语音、语调和语感能够得到提高并达到熟练的程度;由于英语中有大量块状短语结构存在,通过模仿其语言特点,能有效减少中式英语表达。在提高口语的流利程度的同时,也能使其表达更准确更地道。复述不是机械的复述,本文强调创新性的复述。复述是语言输出方式的一种,便于操作,具有...
