概念隐喻能力培养对初中生英语词汇学习影响的行动研究

  近年来,国内外学者研究了运用概念隐喻能力培养的方法进行词汇教学研究,多以理论研究为主,少有实证研究。本研究采用行动研究,探索概念隐喻能力的提高对初中生词汇学习的影响。本研究试图回答两个问题:(1)初中生概念隐喻能力的提高能否提高其英语词汇的短时记忆、长时记忆水平?(2)初中生概念隐喻能力的提高在多大程度上提高其英语词汇理解和运用水平?该研究以广东佛山某中学七年级2个班的73名学生为研究对象,教师从学生现行教材7个模块中共选取193个英语词汇作为教学材料,共实施2轮行动、为期18周。教师运用概念隐喻能力培养的方法进行词汇教学。在第二轮行动中,学生开始参加每周一次的隐喻句子创造比赛。教师将学生分为高、低英语水平组。每个模块词汇学习结束后学生进行概念隐喻词汇听写,每轮结束后学生进行概念隐喻词汇长期记忆、理解和使用能力测试。在行动前后学生分别进行概念隐喻能力前、后测。教师分别在高低英语水平组选择3个代表性的学生进行词汇学习情况访谈进行3次访谈,每次参与访谈的学生均不重复。教师通过测试来测量结果并收集测试数据,运用SPSS22.0配对样本t检验和独立样本t检验进行统计与分析。统计与分析结果显示:...
