电影教学在高中英语词汇教学中的应用研究

  词汇是英语学习的基本要素之一,也是语言表达意义的载体,在高中英语学习中起着至关重要的作用。理解与应用词汇是外语学习成功与否的关键因素,是解决语言问题的核心所在。因此,探索有效的教学方法,从而提高学生的词汇学习能力是十分必要的。电影教学,作为提高学生词汇能力的方法之一,得到众多学者的关注。本研究以江门市华侨中学的102名高一学生为研究对象,进行为期14周的实验研究,试图回答以下两个问题:1)电影教学是否能提高学生学习词汇的动机?2)电影教学是否能提高学生的产出性词汇?本研究进行对比实验,将两个班102名学生分为实验组和控制组,每组各51人。在实验组与控制组中,以学生的期中英语成绩依据,将学生分为高、中、低三个小组,每个小组由17人组成。经过培训后,实验组采用电影教学法,而控制组采用传统的词汇教学法。收集的数据包括问卷调查、课堂观察、访谈记录和学生词汇知识量表(VKS)和词汇翻译的前测、即时测和延后测成绩。对收集的数据进行定量和定性分析,结果显示:1)电影教学可以提高学生的词汇学习动机,实验组的学生在实验后的词汇学习动机明显提高;2)电影教学可以提高学生的产出性词汇,实验组的词汇测试成绩高...
