雷霆超《吃一碗茶》中女主人公美爱的自我意识

雷霆超的《吃一碗茶》出版于1961年,是第一部把故事背景放置在美籍华人生活中的亚裔美国小说。小说对二战后美国纽约唐人街单身汉社会真实生动的描写使得它成为亚裔美国文学中的经典之作,并因此受到评论家的广泛好评。 随着女性主义文学的不断发展,从女性主义视角对文学作品展开解析日渐兴盛。笔者发现小说《吃一碗茶》中弥漫着女性主义的氛围,领会它们的含义对于我们更加透彻地理解小说的深刻探究内涵和作者的创作思想会有很大的帮助。本论文包括六章。第一章简要介绍20世纪五十年代的女性主义,作家生平及作品梗概。第二章围绕小说情节展开,通过作品中不同女性形象对比,从多方面塑造出一个敢于解放自己,追求自由的女性形象.第三,四,五章则分别从美爱意识觉醒的局限性,觉醒原因及意义进行探究。通过前几章的分析进而得出第六章的结论——以特定的女性视角肯定了美爱实现女性独立,完善自我所作的新女性形像。 本文以女性主义理论为基础,以华裔女性美爱的自我意识展开阐述,对华裔女性这一特殊群体的生存发展状况给予关注,从而拓展了华裔文学的研究领域,为华裔文本的研读和作家解读挖掘了新视角。另外文章结合美爱这一形象尝试性地对女性如何自我觉醒,如...
