操控制约视角下《1984》两个中译本的比较研究

20世纪80年代兴起了翻译硏究领域的“文化转向”,把文化研究纳入翻译理论研究中。勒菲弗尔提岀的操控理论是翻译研究文化学派中的一种著名理论。它认为文学翻译活动受一系列翻译外部因素的限制和操控,包括翻译自身性格和其所在社会环境而形成的意识形态、诗学、赞助人等因素,所有这些都对文学作品的翻译方法和策略有着直接或间接的影响。勒菲弗尔的操控理论为翻译研究开启了新的视角,使研究者从仅仅关注文本内部因素转向对文本外部因素的研究,把翻译研究从文本拓宽到文化的领域。操控理论给长久以来沉闷单调的中国文学翻译研究领域带来了清新的气息。操控理论在翻译对象、方法、内容、目标方面的改变为文学翻译开辟了广阔的发展空间。作为乔治·奥威尔最著名的小说,《1984》被译成六十多种语言,并为其作者获得了巨大的声誉。本文以操控论为理论基础,对《1984》的两个中译本进行比较,提出操控理论的新思想和新途径,又以不同类别的实例说明意识形态、诗学和赞助人对翻译的不同影响,指出操控论对中国翻译理论和实践有一定的启示作用。本文概括论述了论文的研究背景、目的、意义和总体结构,对操控理论在翻译中的应用研究现状做了文献综述,同时介绍了小说《...
