乔治·斯坦纳阐释运作理论视角下《青铜葵花》英译本中译者的创造性叛逆研究

  作为一门研究理解和解释的学科,阐释学与翻译学有着密不可分的联系。20世纪90年代翻译学的“文化转向”使得译者地位凸显。译者作为历史性的存在,在理解翻译原文时必定会受到其所在的历史-文化语境的影响,从而在一定程度上造成对原文或原作者写作意图的背离。承认对原作叛逆的历史性存在并对该存在加以描述和原因分析,便产生了创造性叛逆研究。20世纪70年代,以海德格尔和伽达默尔为代表的哲学阐释学打破了主客体的二元对立关系。“偏见”、“视域融合”、“理解的历史性”等核心概念的提出使得阐释者的主观能动性彰显。可见,哲学阐释学与创造性叛逆有很大的共通之处。乔治·斯坦纳以哲学阐释学为基础,提出的阐释运作理论更是为解释翻译过程中译者的主体性提供合理的哲学性解释。他将翻译过程分为四个阶段:信赖、侵入、吸收和补偿,证明翻译的本质其实就是译者发挥主观能动性进行解释和阐释的过程。因此以乔治·斯坦纳阐释运作理论为理论基础,研究译者的创造性叛逆现象具有可行性。《青铜葵花》英译本是由英国著名汉学家汪海岚翻译的。作为一部儿童文学作品,儿童读者无论是在年龄,认知还是语言水平上都具有特殊性,这使得译者为保证儿童读者的理解,在翻译过...
