语篇分析理论视角下《西游记》英译本衔接与连贯的比较研究

语篇衔接与连贯是一个复杂的语言现象,其机制的实现有赖于言语内部和外部多种因素的综合作用。语篇衔接机制通常表现在语篇表层结构上,也就是说,衔接是语篇的有形网络和谋篇机制,体现语篇表层的语言结构关系,表现句子之间在语言形式上的粘连性。从形式上看,语篇的衔接主要是通过词汇和语法等表层结构形式实现的。本研究采用韩礼德和哈桑提出的五种衔接手段,具体包括:指示、替代、省略、连接和词汇衔接。语篇连贯是识别判断和衡量语篇的重要标准之一,同时也是信息传递和交际顺畅进行的必要条件。根据连贯的方式,莱因哈特将语篇连贯分成显性连贯与隐性连贯两个大类。显性连贯通过语法手段和词汇手段而实现,是语言内部的衔接。隐性连贯隐藏于语篇的深层,通过逻辑和语义上的顺畅来实现语篇的文理通顺。基于此,本文分析《西游记》的两个英译本,探索翻译过程中的衔接与连贯。围绕语篇衔接与连贯理论,本文的研究问题主要包括如下三个方面:1.《西游记》两个英译本中的衔接与连贯手段有何不同?2.产生翻译过程中衔接与连贯手段差异的原因是什么?3.如何在翻译过程中有效实现语篇衔接与连贯?围绕上述三个问题,本文通过指示、替代、省略、连接等角度探索翻译过程中...
