功能语境视角下Moment in Peking两中译本对比研究

林语堂作为向西方传播中国文化的代表人物之一,用其深厚的汉语功底和精湛的英文水平创作了不少优秀作品。其中Moment in Peking最著名,该小说被翻译成多种语言。该论文作者在文献收集过程中发现,以往对Moment in Peking汉译本的研究大多停留在静态的视角,忽略了翻译过程的动态本质。事实上,在翻译过程中,译者对原文本意义的解读受到各种语境因素的影响。其中,情景语境和文化语境作为功能语境的两个重要组成部分,是译者翻译时必须考虑的因素,二者的构成要素都包含语场、语旨和语式。基于此,本研究将功能语境引入Moment in Peking的文本翻译分析,试图弥补以往研究的不足,为翻译理论和翻译批评提供一个动态的研究途径。具体来说,本研究以翻译中的功能语境为理论框架,对林语堂Moment in Peking的两中译本进行对比研究(张振玉译《京华烟云》和郁飞译《瞬息京华》),通过运用典型的译例,重点讨论两译本在词汇层、句子层和语篇层的差异;分析源语文本概念意义、人际意义和语篇意义在两译本中不同程度的再现;探讨两译本在词汇及物系统、情态系统和主位信息结构这三个系统影响下不同的译本产出。通过...
