从想象共同体到实践共同体:师范生英语教师身份认同转变的研究

  身份认同是教师专业发展的重要组成部分,是影响教师专业发展的重要变量,也是理解教师专业化发展的重要理论工具。迄今为止,许多学者对师范生英语教师的身份认同进行了相关研究。然而,大多数研究关注的是师范生英语教师的实践认同,很少有研究关注从想象认同到实践认同转变的过程。本研究旨在全面了解师范生英语教师在教学生涯的最初阶段所经历的身份认同的转变过程。研究者提出以下研究问题:(1)在实习前,师范生英语教师的想象认同是什么样的?(2)在实习结束时,师范生英语教师的实践认同是什么样的?(3)导致师范生英语教师的想象认同转变为实践认同的因素有哪些?为了解答这些问题,本研究采用故事分析的方法,全面探讨四位参与者的想象认同和实践认同及其转变的原因。故事是由访谈者讲述的,由研究者从访谈数据中截取的片段。研究结果如下:四位参与者在进入高中学校之前都预先假定了英语教师的想象认同。经过三个月的实习,他们都成功地将英语教师的想象认同转变为实践认同。其中两位参与者June和Sunshine将预期的消极的想象认同转化为积极的实践认同。在实习前,June认为自己会打扰实习班级正常的教学活动,而Sunshine认为自己会是一...
