库切小说《等待野蛮人》对历史权威的解构

　　作为生活在南非种族隔离时期的小说家,库切因为在其作品中隐晦的政治立场,并拒绝使用现实主义写作手法而受到众多南非本土作家的批评。他们认为库切的小说在地理和时间背景上都脱离了南非的种族隔离现状,在政治上缺乏斗争性,没有承担起小说家的社会责任。但库切本人认为,传统的现实主义手法已经难以表现南非那段不可再现的历史,而且单一的写作模式让小说成为了历史的附庸,对于揭示历史话语的深层结构毫无用处。虽然他的小说背景往往都是虚构或模糊的,但“历史”一直是库切作品关注的一个重要话题,对小说和历史之间关系的思索贯穿在他大部分小说中。他不否认历史事实的存在,但他更着重于探索以作家的身份对抗历史话语的建构性和权威性。本文以《等待野蛮人》为例,探讨作者库切如何揭示帝国建构历史权威的方式并解构官方历史的权威,揭示帝国历史和历史叙事的本质,进而重新认识历史和小说的关系。本文正文部分包括三章。第一章论述帝国建构历史权威的方式,即通过建构主体优越性权威、法律权威和历史书写的权威来确定官方历史的权威性。第二章剖析库切在小说中如何解构帝国建构的历史权威,对帝国历史权威性的三个方面一一进行解构。第三章分析库切通过对历史权威的解...
