高中英语教材研究——以高中《英语》(新标准)的阅读部分为例

  随着新一轮高中英语课程改革的开展,提高学生的批判性思维能力成为英语阅读教学的重要教学目标。近年来,大多数关于教材的研究均把重心放在从语法,词汇和结构等方面对教材进行整体性、系统性的评价。尽管已经有很多针对英语教材的阅读板块的研究,但是把批判性思维和教材结合起来进行探究的相关论文还有待进一步丰富。因此,本研究拟以批判性思维作为理论基础,通过对外研社出版发行的高中《英语》(新标准)(简称NSE)学生用书必修一至必修五的阅读板块进行分析评价,从阅读篇章的话题和体裁两方面对阅读材料和阅读活动进行分析,旨在了解该教材阅读板块的阅读材料是否适合老师进行批判性阅读教学,阅读活动的设计是否有利于提高学生的批判性阅读能力,分析阅读板块的优缺点,并提出相应的调整建议。此研究结果发现,《英语》(新课标)必修一至必修五满足了本研究所提出的两个问题。阅读材料能够给英语老师提供开展批判性阅读能力训练的素材;阅读活动的设计基本符合批判性阅读能力的要求。但是,此套教材也存在一定的缺陷。本文根据研究结果,对教师、学生和教材编写人员提出了相应的建议,以达到教材使用效果最大化的目的。
