话题兴趣度对初中生英语阅读中词汇保持的影响

  词汇的习得在二语习得中起着至关重要的作用,阅读不但是二语习得重要的输入来源还是附带习得新单词的一种可靠方式(Nagy,1997;Krashen,1989;Horst,Cobb and Meara,1998;Nation,1997),前人的研究大多集中在不同的阅读任务(Laufer&Hulstijn,2001)、阅读频率(Schmitt,2010)、背景知识(Pulido,2003)、二语水平(Pulido,2004)等因素对词汇习得的影响。然而,只有很少的研究分析了话题兴趣因素对学生的投入程度以及词汇习得效果的影响。因此,本研究不仅探究了话题兴趣度对阅读中英语词汇保持的影响,还探究了性别和语言水平影响下的话题兴趣度对英语词汇保持的影响。本研究以Krashen的情感过滤假说以及Laufer&Hulstijn的投入量假说为理论基础,探究了话题兴趣度与英语词汇保持的关系。更准确地说,本研究是为了回答以下三个研究问题:(1)话题兴趣度是否影响初中生通过阅读保持英语词汇?(2)在相同话题兴趣度下,性别是否影响初中生通过阅读保持英语词汇?(3)在相同话题兴趣度下,语言水平是否影响初...
