基于词块理论的高中英语写作教学的研究

  从作者的教学经验出发,英语的教学法中,语法和词汇是两个独立且极其重要的部分。也就是说,语法是起核心作用的框架,而在语法规则下词汇的填充构成了语言产出。然而,近些年来,许多语言学家意识到短语单位才能真正帮助学习者表达观点和感受,尤其是学生。通过计算机数据统计分析,研究人员发现,自然语言大部分都由一些固定或半固定的短语来完成表达。这种经常出现的多词单位被称为词块。Lewis于1993年在《词汇法》一书中提出了以词块为教学中心的理论。即语言由语法化的词汇构成,而不是词汇化的语法。在语言教学中最重要的不是语法,而是语言中普遍存在的词块。词块是语法、语义和语境的结合体,在语言交际中具有其显著的自身优势。然而,据调查传统的教学方法仍然在高中英语教学中占主导地位。学生使用词汇表孤立地背单词,词汇运用能力差,缺乏对写作的兴趣。他们在写作时总是努力寻找与所想中文对应的词汇来表达自己的想法,所以错误仍比比皆是。本研究依托Lewis的词汇法理论,采用对比分析的方法,研究运用词块教学是否能有效提学生的写作能力并提高他们的学习兴趣。实验中,在控制组的教学活动中,学生扔使用单词表和死记硬背的方法学习英语,对于单词...
