论国际商务合同英译汉的灵活性

  本文《论国际商务合同汉译的灵活性》是在参考前人翻译方法观点、利用纽马克和对比语言学的部分成果并结合英文商务合同翻译实践技巧,对商务合同英译汉灵活性行分析和探讨。全文共分五章。 第一章给商务合同下了定义,并且对纷繁的合同进行了分类。引用了一些文献,评述了前人对翻译理论、翻译传统观点的论述以及翻译灵活性的研究。什么是翻译灵活性?为什么需要灵活性?灵活性如何体现出来的?金陧说灵活性不是照搬,不是搞公式化的对等关系,不是搬用僵硬、简单的公式,它是翻译中的灵活变动,是为了达到译文准确而必须采取的变通手段。作者从哲学、语言学以及机器翻译的有限性等方面阐述了灵活性的根源。作者认为灵活性表现为翻译实践中理论适用的多样性(非唯一性),源语和目的语之间的差异,尤其是英汉两种语言之间的巨大差异导致必须采用变通手段以及合同翻译时的技巧。灵活性就是可灵活地选用翻译理论指导实践;对于一个具体的句子、段落和篇章要具体分析,没有固定不变的解决方案;各种各样翻译技巧的广泛适用的事实说明了灵活性的必要,在某种意义上说,翻译技巧就是灵活性。 第二章讨论了英文商务合同的文体特点。作者认为把握英文商务合同的文体...
