威廉·莎士比亚是文艺复兴时期英国文学史上的著名的作家和戏剧家,他写了许多戏剧和十四行诗,之后作品也被翻译成各种主要语言的版本。他的一部具有讽刺意味的喜剧《威尼斯商人》反映了剧中人物生活的本质,进一步洞悉了各人物的心理活动,揭示了人性的丑恶以及讴歌了爱情及友情,吸引了无数评论家,研究者和读者对莎士比亚文学作品的探讨。许多研究者对作品的解读大都集中在个人的性格,婚姻,宗教,法律思想等方面,很少有对剧中人物存在的心理诉求这一角度进行分析。本文旨在运用罗洛·梅的焦虑理论来分析《威尼斯商人》中的各种焦虑困境以及人物在面临选择时的内心冲突。此外,本论文还试图从剧中伊丽莎白时期的社会和个人两方面分析焦虑的成因和应对焦虑的方式,深层揭示莎士比亚对女性自由意识觉醒的赞美和对种族不平等的同情。这篇论文共分为六个章节:第一章简要介绍了作家威廉·莎士比亚和《威尼斯商人》。通过对莎士比亚国内外研究的回顾,笔者阐述了研究戏剧中人物存在的心理诉求的意义,以此来了解莎士比亚的思想。第二章提出本论文研究的理论依据,简要介绍罗洛·梅焦虑理论的理论来源以及焦虑理论的主要内容,进一步阐明了这一理论与威尼斯商人中的内在联系。第...
