冈仓天心英文作品自我与他者形象的跨文化辩证研究

  冈仓天心(1862-1913)代表了明治维新时期日本知识分子在东西对峙中敏感的文化触角和灵魂挣扎,他的系列英文作品《东方的觉醒》、《东方的理想》、《日本的觉醒》及《茶之书》反映出暗夜中日本面对的选择焦虑:是应该支持德川幕府向内寻求文化滋养与自我觉醒的传统,抑或是倾向于福泽谕吉脱亚入欧派向外接受全盘西化的策略?还是寻觅另外的发展道路?他的作品皆弥散着对历史沿革中民族命运的思考以及对植根其中的人文艺术的关怀,用融入东方价值观的西方语言为载体,言说亚洲并解密东方,受到世界的关注与重视。更重要的是,冈仓天心这四本书是东西方文化碰撞狂涛乍起之时的倾力之作,是消解权力话语下异质性文化偏见并融入文化间对话与认同的诉求与实践。诸如“自我”与“他者”互为镜像的形象塑造,多元文化碰撞中的矛盾心态,以及本土和全球意识的践行等跨文化研究问题有一定的参考价值。目前有关形象学的研究多侧重对异国形象或异国对本国形象的单向度叙事上,涉及从不同主体视角对自我与他者形象关系的探究还有待开拓,对双语创作者冈仓天心的文学表现与阐释也是一块极具跨文化实践意义却鲜有研究的领域。作者以跨文化批判学为框架,形象学与跨文化形象学为理论...
