空间叙事视域下《早安，午夜》中的创伤书写研究

凯西·卡鲁斯（Cathy Caruth）在其代表作《无法言说的经历:创伤、叙事、历史》（1996）中首创“创伤理论”这一术语。在当前的创伤研究中,普遍认为创伤是一种“非比寻常的”（extraordinary）“侵入性的”（invasive）和“粉碎性”（shattering）的体验。简·里斯（1890-1979）是出生在加勒比海岛国多米尼加的英籍女作家,虽已逝去多年,如今仍具先锋意义。无论从学界广为接受的定义来考察,还是采取作家个人的视角,简·里斯的《早安,午夜》都不失为一个有关创伤的故事。文本生动描述了一个外来人在都市夹缝中寻求生存、无法摆脱困境的幻灭之旅,展现了边缘化他者在都市商品社会消费环境中的尴尬境遇。值得注意的是《早安,午夜》中的创伤书写呈现于明显的空间维度,小说中人物存在的地理场域、小说整体呈现的社会图景及文本情节与结构均凸显出空间性。本文以《早安,午夜》为研究文本,以叙事理论学者加布里埃尔·佐伦（Gabriel Zoran）在《建构叙事空间理论》一文中提出的空间理论及其对于文学作品中空间的分类为依据,从地形学、时空体和文本结构三个层次探讨空间叙事在小说创伤书写方面的作用,...
