汉英拒绝言语行为对比研究

在人际交往中,拒绝言语行为是一种普遍而敏感的言语行为,其威胁到请求者的正面面子,与社会所提倡的和谐礼让不相符,因此在本质上是不礼貌的。在不同的社会、文化背景下,由于世界观、价值观、民族传统、历史和地理环境等差异,对拒绝言语行为有着不同的社会规范和语用准则,对二语学习者来说是一个难点,也是英语教学的一个重点。 本文在言语行为理论,中西方的礼貌原则和Kim的谈话制约理论的指导下,就以下两个问题进行了研究：(1)汉英拒绝策略在请求、邀请、建议和提供四种情景中的运用有何异同点?哪些因素造成了这些异同点?(2)男性和女性在汉英拒绝言语行为中有哪些异同点?本文采用通过定性和定量的研究方法,DCT测试和真实情景记录的研究手段,得出以下两组结论：第一,从总体上讲。(1)汉英受试者使用间接拒绝策略均多于使用直接拒绝策略,其中使用较多的间接策略是“理由”、“表面同意,实则拒绝”、“遗憾”和“批判”策略。(2)英语受试者使用的直接拒绝策略多于汉语受试者。(3)汉语受试者拒绝策略的使用和语言表达方面比英语受试者更委婉、模糊,遵循点到为止的原则。第二,在性别因素方面。(1)汉英受试者中,男性和女性使用的间接拒绝...
