中美经济新闻报道中的隐喻比较研究

　　隐喻作为语言中的一个普遍现象,自亚里士多德起就被广泛研究。在传统的理论中,隐喻大多被看作是一种修辞手段。二十世纪八十年代,George Lakoff & Mark Johnson在Metaphors We Live By(《我们赖以生存的隐喻》)一书中提出概念隐喻理论。认知观的隐喻研究全面开始。许多学者在众多领域展开对概念隐喻的研究。其中,经济领域引起学者的关注。新闻作者常使用恰当的隐喻来对其进行形象的描述。隐喻在经济语篇中无处不在,具有重要的地位。本研究旨在对比分析中美经济新闻中概念隐喻的相同和不同之处,以此来加深不同文化模式下概念隐喻的研究。 本文研究的新闻语料取自2010年10月到11月期间发行的美国报纸《纽约时报》(自世界各国报纸全文库获取)和中文报纸《经济日报》(自经济日报多媒体数字报刊获取)。中英文经济新闻报道各50篇,选取201条中英文隐喻表达式。笔者依据概念隐喻的基本理论,对语料采用定性的研究方法,将其分类,并依照其源域归纳为8类：战争、旅途、人类、上/下、水流、天气、非人类物体和容器。通过对其中四种主要概念隐喻(战争、旅途、人类、上/下)的定性分析,并依据La...
