双语词典的例证及其翻译研究

例证,作为词典中必不可少的一个部分,一直为双语词典编纂者及词典用户所关注。一定程度上来讲,没有例证的词目于读者而言用处不大,因为例证在帮助词目释义、翻译及引证和阐述词目用法方面不可或缺。就汉英词典而言,一方面,条目的例证可以帮助读者更好地理解并掌握原语条目含义和用法,另一方面词典中所提供的这些例证的英译又有助于促进读者的写作和翻译。 鉴于例证在双语词典,尤其是汉英词典中的重要性,本文将以汉英词典为研究对象,对汉英词典条目的例证进行较为系统的研究,文章主要讨论例证的定义、分类、功能,当前汉英词典在例证方面所存在的问题,并在此基础上重点研究例证的翻译,以期进一步促进我国汉英词典的编纂工作。 本文共分五章,第一章为简介,简要论述该研究的背景和意义,以及当前的研究现状。第二章阐述双语词典例证的定义、分类、编排及功能。第三章重点讨论目前汉英词典例证方面所存在的六大问题。第四章则详细研究双语词典中例证的翻译问题。本章首先指出汉英词典例证翻译的难点所在,然后针对这些难点提出一些需要遵循的指导原则,以及适用的翻译方法和技巧,旨在进一步推进双语词典,尤其是汉英词典的例证翻译工作。最后一章为结语,总结本文...
