从诗中言者的角度解读丁尼生的心路历程

　　传统上,关于维多利亚时代(1837-1901) 桂冠诗人阿尔弗雷德·丁尼生 (1809-1892) 及其诗歌的研究是从两个角度来进行的。一是以诗人的长子哈雷 姆·丁尼生所著的《备忘录》为代表的传记研究;一是以丁尼生的宗教信仰为研 究对象的主题研究。这两个角度往往会有交叉的情况。丁尼生对英国读者来说已 家喻户晓,然而,在中国读者中却鲜为人知,更是缺少系统的研究。本文在以往 的研究基础上,从诗中言者的角度进一步探讨丁尼生的心路历程。 包括引言与结论,本文分为五个部分。 第一章主要研究丁尼生的早期诗歌《艺术殿堂》。这首诗中的艺术家既是诗 中言者,又是现实中丁尼生本人。在诗中根据主题体现的需要,诗中言者巧妙地 变换着自己与代表艺术的诗歌的关系,由亲密到疏远,体现了早期丁尼生对艺术 和社会之间关系的矛盾观点。 第二章主要研究丁尼生的力作《悼念集》。这本诗集不仅抒发了丁尼生对英 年早逝的挚友的悼念,而且记录了诗人由绝望、到怀疑、到最终坚定信念的心理 变化过程。在这部诗集里,作为丁尼生的代言人的诗中言者对诗中听者的有目的 选择恰恰体现了这一情感与精神的演化过程。 第三章主要研究丁尼生晚年所著的《王者...
