破茧重生——对《宠儿》的女性哥特解读

　　1987年,托尼.莫里森的长篇小说《宠儿》的问世震动了美国文坛。评论家对这部作品的研究多集中在其叙事方法、黑人文学特征等方面。 本文以这部作品的女性哥特特点为突破口,透视女性哥特这种文学体裁对传达这部作品内涵和意义上所起得的重要作用。全文分四章:第一章介绍作家、作品及女性哥特;第二章对女性哥特三大特点之一的女性歌特女主人公在《宠儿》的分析;第三章女性哥特三大特点之一的“封闭空间”意象在《宠儿》中的分析及女性哥特不可避免的“幸福结局”在《宠儿》中的应用;第四章总结全文,并引伸出女性哥特这种文学体裁对传达作品内涵和意义上所起到得的重要作用。
