乔治·斯坦纳阐释学视角下《解密》英译过程研究

　　《解密》是中国当代著名小说家、编剧麦家的第一部长篇小说,主要讲述数学天才容金珍破译密码的故事。麦家以别出心裁的叙述方式、传奇新颖的故事情节和平实、优美的语言风格创作出一部经典的谍战小说。《解密》的英文版由汉学家米欧敏和佩恩合译,并于2014年3月18日出版。该书的英译本获得了巨大的成功,引起学术界的关注。20世纪70年代,乔治·斯坦纳以阐释学的理解观为基础,深入探究理解与翻译的关系。他在1975年出版的著作《通天塔之后:语言与翻译面面观》中创造性地提出了“理解即翻译”的观点,并且将翻译的过程看成阐释的运作,将其分为信任、侵入、吸收和补偿四个步骤。斯坦纳的阐释学翻译理论为翻译研究提供了新的视角。本文以斯坦纳阐释运作理论的四个步骤为理论框架,采用个案研究的方法对《解密》的英译过程进行探析。本文主要尝试回答以下问题:阐释运作理论的四个步骤在《解密》的英译过程中是如何体现的?研究发现,译者对《解密》的初始信任主要源于个人的兴趣和家庭背景的影响,文本自身的价值及个人的语言文化能力,随后这种信任又因为著名汉学家、翻译家蓝诗玲的鼓励和享有盛誉的企鹅出版公司的请求得到确认与加强。由于汉英语言与文化的差...
