翻译伦理视角下林语堂译作《浮生六记》个案研究

《浮生六记》作为清代自传体笔记的巅峰之作，是作家沈复写作风格和人生感悟的完美展现，著作以沈复夫妇的平淡生活为主线，旨在强调平凡生活中的点滴情趣，二人平静豁达的乐观心态更促成其后期坎坷生活的艺术化升华。无论是沈复以“笔墨轻灵、描写细腻、语言清新、形象生动”著称的写作风格，还是其深受“性灵说”的影响的人生态度，均与林语堂追求个性自由、提倡闲适生活的态度相契合，正是在这种浓厚的中国传统伦理的驱使下，林语堂选译《浮生六记》并使其成为众多译本中的代表作。 翻译作为一种跨文化交际活动，并不是在真空中进行的，和伦理是密不可分的。自从英国的巴斯奈特和比利时的勒菲弗尔在他们1990年合编的《翻译、历史与文化》中正式提出“翻译的文化转向”这一口号后，翻译就不再单纯地被看作是简单的语言转换问题，而更多地被视为一个复杂的文本操纵过程，如译本的选择、译者、编辑、出版者或者赞助人的作用等等。安德鲁·切斯特曼将当代西方译学界对翻译伦理的研究划分为四种主要模式，即再现的伦理、服务的伦理、交流的伦理和基于规范的伦理。 本文基于安德鲁·切斯特曼的四种翻译伦理模式，结合翻译实践，对林语堂的知名译作《浮生六记》进行分析，旨在...
