从文化视角论中医名词术语英译的原则及方法

　　中医是中华民族的优秀文化遗产之一。在古代的唯物论和辩证法思想的影响和指导下,经过数千年的医疗实践,它已逐步形成并发展成为一个独特的医学理论体系,为中国人民及世界人民的保健事业做出了巨大的贡献。近年来,随着中国对外开放步伐的加快,中西方文化交流也在不断加强。而作为中国文化载体的中医越来越受到国际医药界的重视,其对外翻译工作也得到了较大的发展。然而,随着中医药对外翻译工作深入和广泛的开展,翻译中出现的问题也越来越多,有些问题直接影响到中医的对外传播工作。为此国内外便有一批学者和翻译人员开始致力于中医英语的翻译研究工作,他们独到的研究,为中医药文化对外翻译的健康发展奠定了实践和理论基础。但由于文化背景、专业领域及翻译理论的不同,这些学者大多各自为政,难以形成较统一的中医英译原则及方法,而对中医名词术语的英译更是“百花齐放、百家争鸣”。笔者将借鉴中医翻译前辈们的宝贵经验对中医名词术语英译的原则及方法从文化视角进行剖析,试图使中医英译者在翻译过程中对中西文化差异这一因素引起重视。本论文共包含了五个章节。 第一章通过对文化,语言和翻译间关系的论述,阐明了文化翻译在加强民族文化影响力中的重...
