中国EFL工/文科本科生毕业论文英语摘要中的交际及互动类元话语研究

  近年来,元话语研究受到越来越多的关注,集结了大量成果。前人的研究证明,元话语在语篇理解和学术写作等方面的重要性。现有文献中,相关研究多集中在对整体学术语篇中的元话语的剖析,分析的语篇多为硕博研究生论文或学术期刊论文,而针对学位论文摘要中元话语使用情况的实证研究较少,尤其是从跨学科角度对国内高校本科毕业论文英文摘要的研究仍有很大空间。因此,有必要从元话语的视角进行探讨,为本科学生英语学术摘要写作教学提供参考。本文以Hyland的元话语理论为支撑,借用该理论中的分类模式为操作定义,通过分层抽样选取国内某高校200个本科毕业论文英语摘要为分析语料(工科及文科各100个),运用定性的个案分析和定量的频度考察两种方法,对其中交际类和互动类元话语的使用情况进行调查,解读背后所表达的功能,并探讨工科(土木工程和电气化工程)及文科(公共管理和大众传媒)学士学位论文英语摘要中元话语使用的异同。研究旨在考查中国本科毕业论文英语摘要中元话语的使用特点,探讨两类不同学科是否会对论文英语摘要中元话语的使用产生影响。研究结果显示:(1)两组学生使用交际类元话语均多于互动类元话语。这可能因为交际类元话语的恰当使用可...
